Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left handed jumps racecourse. It is also the sister racecourse of Chester Racecourse. Whereas Chester’s racing season runs from May to September, Bangor-on-Dee is uniquely suited to race year round.

In addition to its racing heritage, Bangor-on-Dee has branched out to offer services ranging from weddings and conferences, to exhibitions and events. This is made possible by Bangor-on-Dee’s two on-site restaurants, The Wynnstay and The Paddock.

If you join the Horseradish and Chester Race Company team for events at Chester Racecourse, you will automatically have the opportunity to work at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse too!
