About us

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left handed jumps racecourse. It is also the sister racecourse of Chester Racecourse. Whereas Chester’s racing season runs from May to September, Bangor-on-Dee is uniquely suited to race year round.

In addition to its racing heritage, Bangor-on-Dee has branched out to offer services ranging from weddings and conferences, to exhibitions and events. This is made possible by Bangor-on-Dee’s two on-site restaurants, The Wynnstay and The Paddock.
