Our race days and events at Chester Racecourse create a range of job opportunities, with something suitable for everyone! Along with our departments below, the racecourse focuses on providing an immersive and memorable race day for our colleagues, as well as guests. 

Our Equine Welfare team care for our owners horses prior and post racing, prioritising horse welfare above all. We also have key roles within the racing department which involve controlling access of our horse walks, advanced flag operating as well as management of our stables. We also have our important hardworking grounds and maintenance teams that ensure the track is prepared and suitable for racing.

We pride ourselves in ensuring our guests and employees are safe and secure at every event, which we achieve in the expert hands of our stewarding and security team. 

From the moment guests arrive at the gates, up until their departure, our safety team are diligently keep our guests safe whilst providing a high level of guest experience, to ensure our guests have the best day possible. 

Some of our stewarding team have worked for us for over 20 years! We are extremely proud and grateful for their hard work.
