As one of the friendly faces of the racecourse, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, informative, and vibrant atmosphere for our guests. Through proactive interaction, strong local knowledge, and outstanding guest support, you’ll help enhance every aspect of the race day experience.

About Chester Race Company

General Responsibilities:
Providing a first-class, friendly welcome to guests across the racecourse
Acting as a knowledgeable point of contact for directions, venue information, and general enquiries
Creating a positive arrival and departure experience to leave a lasting impression
Proactively identifying and supporting guests who may require additional assistance
Representing the racecourse brand with a professional, approachable, and positive presence
Managing and hosting guest engagement activations across the site, including interactive games, giveaways, photo opportunities, and pop-up experiences
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in drama, theatre, entertainment, or performance-based roles is desirable
A confident, enthusiastic, and guest-focused attitude
Strong communication skills with an approachable manner
Ability to think on your feet and use initiative
Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
Previous guest-facing experience is an advantage
This role requires you to be over the age of 18
Pay Rates (inclusive of holiday pay):
💷 £14.03 per hour to increase to £14.60 from April 1st
